I’m in England again.

I’ve put off blogging a bit because I have so much to write before classes start and I was prioritizing. For some reason, I’ve been having trouble turning my ideas into words and putting them on paper. My stories have been without plot and my characters without motivation. I’ve been struggling, and then I remembered that these problems were the reason I started blogging every day way back in December. Because even on days when I didn’t work on any of my stories, I would have written something. Sometimes all I need to get those creative juices flowing is to write about anything at all, and blogging was a way to do that. Other times I just wanted to blog for the sake of blogging and my writing had nothing to do with it. Anyway, here I am at the beginning of another school year writing a blog post. Hi.

  1. Good luck in your next school year! Prioritising is a good idea, especially when there’s so much to do. I’m sorry to hear you’re suffering from writer’s block at the moment. I don’t know if this would work for you but I find it works miracles to just start writing, and the words will come. Maybe not the same day but it’ll happen. Equally, try writing something completely different. That way you’re still writing and you can get away from your usual genre.
