On Saturday I attended my cousin’s Bachelorette Party! And we partied in style. An enormous limo was rented for the evening and fifteen of us, including the future bride, piled in. We went around the city and basically had an awesome time partying. Continue reading
The weather is getting warmer, but not quite warm enough to go jacket-less yet. I like this outfit for the girly-rocker vibe and it would work for casual wear or as a fancier outfit. Continue reading
We’re in that strange transition period between winter and spring and staying warm—but not too warm—and fashionable is a hard balance to find. Not to worry, I’ve found an outfit that strikes a balance between the two seasons perfectly.
I have a terrible habit of waiting for the last minute to pack before going somewhere, even when that “somewhere” happens to be England and the trip is for an entire school year. The problem is that I just don’t know where to start or what I need to bring and what I don’t need. I know most people reading this have probably already started university, but maybe in the future it will save you (and the future me) that last-minute panic. Continue reading
The Lion King Musical was in my hometown and my mom took my siblings and me to go see it. We see plays or musicals occasionally, but not often enough in my opinion. Continue reading
Yes, it’s unofficially autumn. You might be complaining about the impending snowfall (unless you’re lucky enough to live somewhere where trees actually have the chance to lose their leaves before you get twelve inches) or upcoming classes (unless you’re done with school), but fall happens to be my favourite time of the year. The trees get all pretty, the ground smells earthy, the weather is a good in-between, and the fashion. Which is why for the first time, I’ve put together a list of fall trend favourites. If it goes well, I might just do it for every change of seasons. Continue reading
I thought it might be nice to have all the outfits I wore in Paris in one place, so that’s what this is. I’d love to hear about your favourites in the comments below!
I’m probably the last person you want to get workout tips from, but at least I know how to look like I know what I’m doing. This type of outfit is also good for being on the go and is extremely comfortable, so whether you’re playing tennis, hiking, or just running errands, you’re prepared. *Insert thumbs up here* Continue reading
I have an essay to do for tomorrow, but since I haven’t exhausted every means of procrastination, here’s a blog post.
I took some pictures of my friends because they had awesome outfits, but I never really knew how to make it into a blog post. It’s an Anything Goes Sunday, so I’ll just put them here.
Recently I’ve wondered what it is that makes people willing to spend more money for clothes when there are tons of stores out there that offer clothes at a far lower price. The focus of this question is Aritzia, the women’s clothing store. Everything there has been on sale recently, which I’ve taken advantage of on more than one occasion, but even their sale prices are on the high end. A hat costs $14 on sale, and the original price is $30. A similar hat can be found at Forever 21 for $11.90. What makes people pay for the more expensive hat? Continue reading
