I don’t even know what the rules are to these Favourites posts anymore. I’m just gonna put a bunch of fun stuff together in one place. Enjoy.
Okay, so I’ve just realized my attempt at “Monthly Faves” instead of “Weeklies” hasn’t worked out. I haven’t done one since January. So I’m trying again with Seasonal Faves. Who knows? This could become an annual thing if I’m not careful.
To be honest, the way my year has started has been probably one of the worst starts to a year I can remember. Sorry I keep disappearing.
I wonder whether I should just make it official and rename these Bi-Weeklies?
Sorry I’ve been gone awhile. I’ve been sick, and working on my ECP (thesis/dissertation) which I’m actually supposed to be working on right now. I was doing so well posting a blog post every day, and then this last week has just been a let down. Oh well, I’m back (temporarily).
Just because I’m busy all the time doesn’t mean I don’t still enjoy stuff. Here are this month’s weeklies (because let’s face it, these only ever happen every month anymore).
Yes, this Weeklies is going to be on a Thursday. It’s been a crazy week and it’s not even over yet, so you’ll have to make do with this. I’ll tell you about my week soon enough. There’s a lot to catch up on.
Let’s start with music.
These shouldn’t even be called Weeklies anymore. I’ve had this blog for 50 weeks and this is only the 19th Weeklies I’ve done. But oh well. Let’s see what I’m into this week.
I completely forgot Weeklies even existed. The last time I did one was way back in June. Oops.
I’ve taken a short break from blogging, but not to worry. I’m back now!
Book: I don’t often recommend books that I haven’t read myself, but I haven’t been reading as much as I’d like so this recommendation comes from my dad. The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. According to my dad, it’s really good. I got him the sequel for Father’s Day, The Rosie Effect.
TV Show: A friend of mine recently got me addicted to Pretty Little Liars. It’s not the type of show I usually go for. It’s got mysteries and serious themes. Murder, torture, tricks, and mind games are all part of the story, but so are teenage love, family values, and friendship.
Food: I made stir-fry for the first time this week and it was absolutely delicious. Maybe I’ll write up the recipe for you guys sometime.
Music: MIKA has great summer-y music. This is one of his newer songs.
