My Recent Life in Pictures

I should note that I didn’t take pictures of everything because often I forgot my camera or I just forgot in general.

None of these pictures predate December 1st.

Thoughts on Thoughts

I am way too early for work. Like, an hour and a half early. But class ended early and I already ate and work has wifi and it’s better to be an hour and a half early than five minutes late. The day is wet and gloomy. I can see the peak of what looks like a castle in the distance, but it’s probably just a church or something. Still, looks cool.

15 Things to Do When You’re Home Alone

For the long weekend, my dad went on a trip and my siblings stayed at my mom’s house. I lost my phone and I had no car. Basically, I spent over 96 hours home alone except for my dog Foxy and a minnow my little brother caught at the lake last week. Sad, right? Thankfully, I’m an introvert and I consider myself an expert on passing the time alone. I thought maybe some of you guys could use some suggestions on things to do when you’re home alone, or if you want you can do all these things with a friend.

Treat Yo Self!

I’ve been watching entirely too much Parks and Recreation lately. (It’s a good show. I highly recommend it.) Anyway, there’s one episode where a couple of the characters take a day to treat themselves and throughout the episode they’re telling each other to “Treat Yo Self!”

That sounded great to me, so I decided to do it, on a smaller, I’m-a-broke-student scale.

Friends and Family

I'm just going to litter this post with pictures of my brother and me.
I’m just going to litter this post with pictures of my little brother and me.

I was trying so hard to get used to the idea of my little brotherĀ getting older. For the past three months I was going around in a stupor, repeating to myself “Bub’s going to be twelve soon. Bub’s going to be twelve soon.” I convinced myself of it. Then I got home and discovered he was only going to be eleven and I picked him up in a huge hug and yelled “Thank god! You’re too little to be big!”
