I got super lucky in January in terms of roles. I managed to worm my way into four short films, two as the lead, one bit part and one background. But apparently that wasn’t enough for me, because I wanted to make a short film.
If you’ve been around long enough, you might remember I had written and directed a short film called SIV, based on the short story I wrote (this is the original short story, and this is the sequel from which the short film was made), and which premiered earlier this year.
In November last year, I was lucky enough to play Hanna in Snowshoe & Monster, a webseries pilot for Telus Storyhive. We had three days and $10K to make the best pilot we could.
In February, the finished Snowshoe & Monster pilot came out and was one of two pilots chosen to make five more episodes with $50K.
This past week has been one of the busiest I’ve had so far this year, and all in a good way. A great way, in fact.
Snowshoe & Monster is out! You can watch it using the link below and please remember to vote for it!
2018 has been interesting in a good way. As with nearly every year, 2018 started with parties. Then there were a few days of chilling and getting organized in preparation for the upcoming year.
Not too long ago I was cast in a film. It was pretty cool. I haven’t entirely finished filming my parts but I’m mostly done, and I’m excited to share it.
