Big Hero 6

“On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your pain?” Does emotional pain count? Because this movie caused a 10.

Awesome movie. Awesome, awesome, awesome movie.

If you plan to watch it, DO NOT LEAVE THE THEATRE UNTIL THE CREDITS HAVE ENDED! There’s a scene at the end and my brother, dad, two other audience members, and I were the only ones to see it. And it’s really good.

I knew before seeing it that Big Hero 6 was going to be good. Some people online aren’t too happy that three of the five main characters weren’t Japanese like they were in the original comics, but this is Hollywood we’re talking about. Big Hero 6 had one of the most culturally diverse casts in a long time that didn’t involve race jokes. Besides, it could’ve been a lot worse (I’m looking at you, Exodus: Gods and Kings!)

I really don’t have much else to say. I loved it. Five stars. It’s Christmas Eve so you’ll have to forgive me for such a short post. Happy Holidays.
