Outfit of the Week: Winter Workout

My most liked post ever is the only workout outfit I’ve ever posted. I figured since you all liked it so much, I’d do another one.

The new year is right around the corner and with it comes all those resolutions about going to the gym. Am I right? Well it seems this post is right on time! Here’s a simple workout outfit with a simple way to look cute and stay warm (although if you’re still too cold maybe try ten laps to get the blood pumping).

I’ll start with the basic workout outfit. It’s pretty simple, just Aritzia leggings (the same ones as the last workout outfit I posted, incidentally). They’re long which is good for the winter and they have a subtle pattern to keep the outfit from being either boring or overwhelming. The tank top is just a tank top from Ardene. I’ve got my hair tied back and I would have some indoor gym shoes with it. Possibly my new Nikes.

And after your workout, you can go get a smoothie with extra confidence from both your workout and your outfit!

I kept the oversized plaid shirt unbuttoned for the picture so you can see how I layered everything, but when I went out I had at least a button or two done. All personal preference, though. I got it off kijiji so I don’t know what store it can be found at, but I know plenty of stores have oversized shirts like this, including Brandy Melville, Forever 21, and basically any store with men’s (or women’s) casual fashion.

I’ve got my Aritzia coat on to keep me warm and I top it all off with a toque which is also from Aritzia. If you aren’t Canadian, that thing on my head in the picture to the left is called a toque (as you probably deduced). It’s purpose is to keep your head and ears warm. I’d wear boots with this outfit.

And that’s it! What did you think? Something you’ll try? Not your style? Tell me in the comments below!

Thanks for reading, and thank you very much for helping me reach 150 followers!
