On Saturday I went to Brighton for a friend’s birthday and it was great.
It was a bit of an overcast day, but let’s be real, this is England. Even though the word “bright” is literally in the name, they probably meant it metaphorically.
We went to the beach firsthand walked along, looking at art and stuff. There were a lot of art stalls and a couple of merry-go-rounds which my little brother would have loved.
Pretty beachy, right? We went along and got to the post-card famous Brighton Pier where we walked around and played some games.
It had a really nice fun vibe to it, like everyone was happy to be there, all these strangers who all want the same thing: to have a good day. Simple.
To be honest, most of the day was spent shopping, and I didn’t take very many pictures of that. But I did get two more decent pictures of Brighton.
Brighton was great and I hope to return someday. Maybe when it’s sunnier.
