I’m back!

Oops. Ten days since my last post. My apologies. I kept meaning to post, but I’ve been busy. Many things have changed.

My chair has arrived and as promised, I’ll show you both that and my bookshelf…tomorrow. Today, I’ll only update you on what’s been going on.

The biggest thing to happen in the past ten days is school. I found, interviewed for, was enrolled in, and now attend the Graphic Design program at a local college, all within the past ten days.

I joined a local screenwriting club, and that was more than ten days ago but I’m not sure I mentioned it before so here it is. I’m trying to finish one of my short film scripts before the next meeting. It’s good to have a goal. Too bad it’s going so slowly.

I finally, finally got my Learner’s Licence. A bit late, I know, but being in England makes it a little bit difficult to prove you live in Alberta, which makes it a little bit difficult to take the test. Besides, I always walked everywhere in university. England’s useful that way. Most of my university friends didn’t have their licences or learner’s licences either. But I live in the continent of cars now. I’ve got to adapt. So I’m adapting.

I also went full-on grocery shopping and cooked up a storm yesterday. Remember way back in early 2015 when I did recipes? Well, you might see s couple again soon…

That’s all for now. I’ll try not to disappear without explanation for that long again. But if I do and you miss me, you can always find me on social media.

Author: precariouswriter

I live in Calgary, Canada where I was born and raised, but I lived in Winchester, England for three years while in university. When I was fourteen, I decided there weren’t enough books in the world and set out to make more. Since then, I’ve been writing non-stop and aim to work in the book industry. I have two blogs: PrecariousWriter.com is my personal blog where I'll write about anything. PrecariousReader.com is book and writing-related posts including reviews, poems, short stories and articles.
