Future Plans 2017

     When I was still at my job, I felt burned out at the end of every day. In the beginning I used to write when I could, but it turned into more work on top of already exhausting work. For the majority of my time I wasn’t doing any writing outside of this blog at all. It made me feel like I had gone across the ocean, studied for three years, chased my passion, and it was all for nothing. I was doing a job I didn’t enjoy and kept working just for the money. I saw myself growing old there, maybe becoming the assistant manager in five years, the manager in ten years, and I saw a future where working retail would become my life. And it scared the hell out of me. So I left.

What Happens When You Leave School

I’ve left two schools in the past six months. One was a typical, happy, graduation kind of leave. The other was a non-typical, special-circumstances kind of leave. There are some things that only happen with the first kind and some things that only happen with the second, and there are a few that happen with both.

My First Rant (About Everything)

My computer is getting slower by the day and it is driving my crazy. Also driving me crazy? My room. I don’t have a chair for my desk so I have to bend over to use my laptop which is uncomfortable and probably bad for me. I have stuff all over the floor in an attempt to organise. My closet is still waiting for some coverage. My wall is still blank. It is not the inspiring space I wanted to spend my summer writing in. It is not a retreat in any way except that it has a door which separates me from the less-than stellar living conditions outside of it…
