I’ve left two schools in the past six months. One was a typical, happy, graduation kind of leave. The other was a non-typical, special-circumstances kind of leave. There are some things that only happen with the first kind and some things that only happen with the second, and there are a few that happen with both.
I quit school. If you’re wondering what that last post was about, it’s that.
Okay, okay. I’ve got some explaining to do. It’s actually really simple. I couldn’t upload my pictures for some reason or another. And how can I write a post about my new shelves without even showing you my new shelves?
Oops. Ten days since my last post. My apologies. I kept meaning to post, but I’ve been busy. Many things have changed.
My computer is getting slower by the day and it is driving my crazy. Also driving me crazy? My room. I don’t have a chair for my desk so I have to bend over to use my laptop which is uncomfortable and probably bad for me. I have stuff all over the floor in an attempt to organise. My closet is still waiting for some coverage. My wall is still blank. It is not the inspiring space I wanted to spend my summer writing in. It is not a retreat in any way except that it has a door which separates me from the less-than stellar living conditions outside of it…
Well, I don’t have any school to go back to in September. I thought I might take some classes but that’s not looking like it’ll happen until May. I’ve got a part-time job, but as stated, it’s only part-time. So what will I do the rest of the time?
I hope you all had a good weekend!
Without work or university and with all my friends already leaving for other cities and countries, I’ve had to find my own reasons for leaving my room.
I got really bored today, which scares me because if I can’t deal with one day in Winchester without university work, how am I going to deal with A WHOLE MONTH???
Okay, so that last post was a bit sparse.
From Tuesday to Friday, I stayed with my friend Siân in beautiful Bournemouth. As soon as I arrived, we went straight to the beach because it was sunny and the forecast for the rest of the week was pessimistic at best.
