I have a new schedule. Now that I have my licence and a car, I drive my brother to school in the mornings when he’s over at my dad’s with us. This is good. It keeps me from working into the early hours like I used to.
As I did last year, to celebrate this blog’s birthday, here is a compilation of notable posts from over the past year.
Oh dear, has it been six days already? My break will be over before I know it!
Like every university student, the first couple of days after my break were spent in bed with my laptop, just happy to be done.
Today marks one year since the launch of Precarious Writer and the publishing of my first blog post. I didn’t think I would last this long. I would’ve been excited to get past a week without giving up. Now it’s been a year and this blog has grown so much.
You know, it’s been a while since I’ve written a good old, let’s-catch-up, blog post. I think I’ll write one now.
Wayyyyy back in one of my earliest blog posts, I said I wouldn’t know for sure if I’d keep up this blogging thing until six months have passed. Well lo and behold, the six month mark was passed a few days ago and I’m still here! I guess that means I’m sticking around for a while.
I had planned three posts for each of the past three days, but they all fell through. I’m very sorry and will post twice today to make up for it. Hopefully, things will look up next week.
On Wednesday I had to choose my modules for my third and final year of university. What??? I thought I just started university, like, three days ago! Now I’m planning my last year?
I am in no way prepared to finish school. A lot of the courses for next year sound amazing and I can’t wait for them, but what do I do after it’s all over? When will I see my friends again afterward? What will I do?
Oh. Yester-post, I said I would revisit my reasons for starting this blog. Then I didn’t. Sorry. I’ll fix that now.
