Mornings here in Calgary have been gloomy these last few days. I’ve noticed this because my room at my mom’s house hasn’t got curtains yet and the sun shines directly in my face, waking me up on non-gloomy mornings. These gloomy ones, however, I’m able to sleep through. Continue reading “Polo, Psycho, and Ghost Towns”
To be honest, the way my year has started has been probably one of the worst starts to a year I can remember. Sorry I keep disappearing. Continue reading “Faves: January 2017”
I joined a gym today.
When it comes to working out…I don’t. So I started small and hardly did anything and I still barely made it down the stairs without falling over because my legs were feeling wobbly. How embarrassing. Continue reading “Gymming”
Just because I’m busy all the time doesn’t mean I don’t still enjoy stuff. Here are this month’s weeklies (because let’s face it, these only ever happen every month anymore). Continue reading “(#21) Weeklies”
Yes, this Weeklies is going to be on a Thursday. It’s been a crazy week and it’s not even over yet, so you’ll have to make do with this. I’ll tell you about my week soon enough. There’s a lot to catch up on.
Let’s start with music. Continue reading “(#20) Weeklies”
These shouldn’t even be called Weeklies anymore. I’ve had this blog for 50 weeks and this is only the 19th Weeklies I’ve done. But oh well. Let’s see what I’m into this week.
I completely forgot Weeklies even existed. The last time I did one was way back in June. Oops.
Having a break from school leaves a lot of room for…well, everything else! That plus the fact that I didn’t have wifi for last week’s Weeklies means I have a lot lined up for this one. Shall we begin?
Food: Chinese takeout. So convenient for lazy days, and it will literally last you days. Continue reading “(#15) Weeklies”
Okay, so let’s do this.
The Devil Wears Prada: Continue reading “(#14) Weeklies”
Maybe I should stop doing these Weeklies? I dunno. But hey, double digits! *high five*
So let’s see what I’ve been loving lately.
Chinese New Year is awesome (or as my mom’s family likes to call it, “Vietnamese New Year”). That was this week. At home, there’s always a party at my grandparents’ house and all the parents give the kids money in exchange for good wishes for the new year. Here, however, my friend’s family and friends visit and she invites a few of her friends (me included) for dinner. Dinner is always delicious, and then we get money just because it’s new year. Am I missing anything? Oh! We’re supposed to wear bright colours. The picture to the left is what I wore. You’re supposed to wear brand new clothes for the brand new year, but I wore my old jeans. But the top I only got the day before at New Look. Bright enough? I tried to tone it down for the rest of the outfit with just grey jeans and a grey jacket.
