When I last updated you guys on my room at my mom’s, it was in this post. Well, I’ve made a few changes since, and I think this is as close to done as it’ll ever get. And you know what? I like it. Continue reading “Room Makeover: A Personal Touch”
I’ve gotta say, filming vlogs every day for my month in Vietnam last summer was one of the best things I could have done in order to learn vlogging and figure out my new camera. Continue reading “A Day in Kananaskis”
Last week Monday, I went to a theatre audition. I’ll spare you the suspense—I didn’t get it. But I ran into a few people I’d gotten to know since joining the industry, and one of them said to me, “I see you in, like, everything.”Continue reading “For Now”
I was supposed to be editing after I got home from some meetings last night, but instead I looked up a few articles about plotting—and, more specifically, about plotting an ending—and then the end of SC (my big bad book) popped into my head. Continue reading “I Plotted Two Novels Today”
Calgary has found itself in another deep freeze. January can be dreary like that. I think one of the best ways to beat the dreariness is by looking good. My closet is still waiting for some coverage. My wall is still blank. It is not the inspiring space I wanted to spend my summer writing in. It is not a retreat in any way except that it has a door which separates me from the less-than stellar living conditions outside of it…Continue reading “My First Rant (About Everything)”

In fact, I don’t think I would love heights so much if I didn’t have that little fear inside. It’s what makes the “nice view” into something more. I guess you could say heights are my high.
I got a pretty good dosage today. Continue reading “High, from Paris”
The first of my many journeys between Winchester and home was…an adventure. I wrote it all down a while back, and now it’s today’s Saturday Story! Hope you like it.Continue reading “My First Trip to Winchester”
